Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data FansHype collects when you use it as a creator or a supporter, why we need it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Easinovation Ltd, which operates FansHype, is responsible for the personal data described here. We process it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, for users in Ghana, the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843).
2. What we collect
Creators: name, username, email, phone number, profile photo and bio; your bank account (we confirm the account name with your bank and only ever show the last 4 digits); your password and withdrawal PIN (stored only in scrambled, one-way form); plan and billing history; your Telegram group details if you connect one.
Supporters: the name you choose to show, your email, the amount, the message you send, and payment details. Card numbers are entered with our payment partner and are never stored by FansHype. For mobile money we receive your network and phone number. For VIP access we link your Telegram account so we can add and remove you from the group.
Business registration: the details CAC requires for each proprietor, director or shareholder — full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, address, phone, email, occupation — plus a means of identification, a passport photograph and a signature.
Automatically: IP address, device and browser information, and sign-in times, used to keep accounts secure and send sign-in alerts.
3. How we use it
- To run your account and process payments, withdrawals, VIP access and plans (performing our contract with you).
- To prevent fraud, money laundering and abuse, and to keep records the law requires (legal obligation and legitimate interest).
- To send receipts, alerts and service emails. Optional notification emails can be switched off in Settings → Notifications.
- To file your business registration with CAC, only when you ask us to.
- To show your testimonial on our homepage, only if you gave consent. You can remove it at any time from your dashboard.
- To understand how FansHype is used and improve it, using combined figures rather than individual profiles.
4. What is public
A creator's page shows their name, photo, bio, goals and recent public tips. Supporters choose the name shown with a tip and can tip privately; private tips are never shown publicly. Messages sent with a payment may be shown or read aloud on the creator's live stream. We never show a supporter's email to the public.
6. How we protect it
- All traffic is encrypted. Passwords and PINs are stored with strong one-way hashing.
- Identity documents for business registration are kept in private storage and are only seen by staff handling your application.
- Staff access is limited to what each role needs, and admin actions are logged.
- If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Payment and transaction records are kept for at least 6 years after the transaction, as financial and tax law requires. Business registration documents are kept for as long as needed to complete the registration and handle questions about it. When data is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong — most of it you can edit yourself in Settings;
- delete your data, except records we must keep by law;
- stop or limit some uses of your data, or withdraw consent you gave (for example, for a testimonial);
- move your data to another service in a common format.
You can delete your account yourself, in the app (More → Delete account) or on the website (Settings → Security → Delete account) — see Delete your account for what is removed and what is kept.
For anything else, email easinovation@gmail.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (or, in Ghana, the Data Protection Commission).
10. Children
FansHype is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has used FansHype, contact us and we will remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in your dashboard before the change applies. See also our Terms of Service.
